With the shift in so many state standards, our time spent writing each day needs to be intentional. I know that if there was one thing you all need more of it is time, and we understand! You will find that February's lessons can be integrated into science or social studies to help save time in your reading/writing block.

In this lesson, students will name the theme of a book or passage the class has read and cite evidence in the story that points to that theme.
