April 2021 Grades 5-8 Lesson of the Month

Students will read and/or listen to several poems that use imagery as a literary device to allow the reader to visualize a topic or theme. They will then create their own poem utilizing imagery to capture the reader’s imagination and provide sensory details so the reader can experience the topic fully.
