December 2021 Grades K-1 Lesson of the Month

In grades K and 1, students will be decorating a snow globe and writing a descriptive segment. For those students who are not ready to write, they can draw, orally describe their snow globe world, and/or write a list or label. For those that are writing full sentences, be sure to provide lots of support in the form of sentence starters and of course, keep your modeled segment visible for all to reference.
