Students will learn all about polar bears in this simple, informative text and then have the opportunity to respond to the text by writing several informational sentences. As always, sentence starters are provided to shape students’ thinking. A side by side narrative text is included along with a response to narrative text framework. Use this as part of a unit on Arctic or cold-weather animals, or as a stand alone writing experience.
