November 2020 Grades K-1 Lesson of the Month

In this ancient and often told legend, hungry travelers concoct a plan to convince the townspeople to share a small amount of their food in order to make a meal that everyone enjoys. Students will listen to the story, Stone Soup, summarize the story using a beginning, middle, end template and create a delicious pot of soup as an interactive activity to understand that the middle of the story is the largest, most important part of the story.
