November 2021 Grades K-2 Lesson of the Month

The K-2 Lesson includes a suggested read-aloud along with step-by-step directions to complete an informational piece. Students will be asked to think about kindness and how they can show they’re kind.  Then, they will create a drawing, possibly label the drawing and add a sentence or two using the details they brainstormed as a class. This lesson also asks students to think about how kindness makes them feel using the lesson - What do feelings look like?
