Last week, our Elementary celebrated all of the success we have had in writing across grade levels K-4 this year. ELAR teachers came together to share student samples, stories, special moments, and favorite lessons with each other. Having an aligned writing curriculum beginning in kindergarten, that teaches skills that I am using with my sixth graders, is something that we are fully invested in. Common vocabulary and strategies will allow our students to build and grow a solid foundation from year to year. Here are a few pics from our end of the year writing party!
