One of our all-time favorite activities this time of year is with the story of Stone Soup. There are many versions of this folktale for you to choose from. I just had to share this with all of you who might be interested! I have included the google slides with all of the directions and pieces needed to use in creating this activity in the download below. Make an extra large version to laminate and put in a station with the book for students to work on sequencing story events. Use velcro to make the pieces for students to put on the strip. (sentence strips work perfectly for this!
