This has quickly become a favorite February lesson for many of you. Mrs. Sutton's kindergarten class rocked this, and I just had to share it with you! She spent about 15 minutes a day modeling one feature at a time, and then the students wrote about that feature for their monster. Our first-grade students took it even further by elaborating on their monsters and using sentence starters all on their own!
